Hello everyone,

This is PowerSocial‘s first day, which is a tool for managing Social Marketing Campaigns integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Today we are going to discover the “Social Media Marketing Tool“, launched with the latest PowerAddon Marketing Cloud version 2018.5.0.0.
So far, this new platform allows for managing only Twitter accounts. All customers who have a Professional, or Enterprise version of PowerAddon will receive it free of charge.
First, link your Twitter account (or our Twitter accounts) to the platform. In order to do so, click on the PowerMenu and select “Add Social Account” under the “PowerSocial” menu.

The social media account management tool will open. Click on “Add Account“, then the “Add Twitter Account” option will appear. Click on this button and enter your Twitter credentials.

After logging into Twitter and giving PowerSocial permission to use the application, the account will then be visible within the authorized accounts.

You can start using the tool from now on. To access the tool click on “PowerMenu” and select “Social Dashboard” under the “PowerSocial” menu. No stream will be available, being the initial opening. The first tab will be called “My First Stream“.

Select the social account and the item to be used.

In this case, select “HOME“. The application will download all the posts that appear on the Twitter home page of the selected account.

This way you can follow your favorite hashtags, check your Twitter mentions, and so on.

Another very important function of the tool is about publishing and scheduling the posts quickly and easily.

To publish the first post, go to the “Social Dashboard” and click on “Compose Message“.

The form for creating the post will open. Select the account in which you want to publish the post.

Write the text (the tool will help count the characters we use) and insert mentions, hashtags, and URLs. Up to 5 images can be loaded via the composer.

Finished creating the post will be able to publish it immediately or select the date and time you want to publish.
Another features made available to the powersocial for Microsoft Dynamics 365 is that of the Publisher (or Scheduler).

The Publisher allows you to see in real time all your planning within the weekly calendar. It will be possible through the publisher to move within the week all the posts scheduled quickly and fast.

To access the publisher you must click on “Powermenu” and under the voice powersocial click on “publisher”.
